ENJOY! The 2023 FOP Family Gathering Awaits You!
The 2023 FOP Family Gathering will be an exciting first for our community! We are pleased to offer an in-person option for families while also streaming live sessions for virtual attendees around the world for the first time ever! Our hope is that the virtual platform serves as a space to reconnect with community friends you might not have seen in a while, make new ones, and engage in general session presentations and discussions where you can learn alongside members of the FOP community while also sharing your unique perspective.
While the entire IFOPA team will be onsite in Dallas, Texas hosting the in-person portion of the event, one very special member of our staff will be dedicated solely to the virtual experience.
Meet Your Support Staff: Chey Payson
Chey joined the IFOPA as Program Specialist in May 2023. With a knack for developing relationships and cultivating bonds with those she serves, Chey is a skilled and compassionate advocate for the FOP community. In her role with the IFOPA, Chey provides support to the family services and fundraising departments, as well as supports the IFOPA's eNewsletters, website and awareness initiatives.
During the Family Gathering Chey will be supporting virtual attendees in the following roles:
- Moderating the virtual chat and Q&A for general sessions
- Providing logistical support for all Zoom sessions
- Co-host for Friday's Team Trivia
