Good oral health is essential for people with FOP but receiving proper care can be a challenge if you don’t live near a dental professional experienced in treating those with FOP. The IFOPA recently launched a new stipend program for eligible individuals with FOP and their families to help with travel expenses for dental care.
 
The stipend provides assistance with transportation and lodging for care that can best be completed by an FOP dental expert at Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Stipend applications can be submitted through the IFOPA website.
