Resilient Living Workshop

Thursday, November 14

9 am to 2 pm (Lunch included)

The FOP community is fortunate to have an amazing team of experts to provide support and guidance for the medical needs of individuals. We are excited to launch the Resilient Living Program to focus on the emotional, social and psychological challenges that come along with FOP.

The Resilient Living Workshop will focus on providing individuals with FOP, or their family members, the background and tools to incorporate resilient practices into everyday living. Participants will take home a workbook which includes an explanation of the 10 facets of resiliency and a variety of exercises to incorporate these practices in day-to-day living.

Interested in learning more about the meaning of resiliency and how it can strengthen your mental well-being before you sign up for the workshop? Watch the recording of our Intro to Resiliency webinar for a brief overview of the resilience framework the IFOPA will be incorporating throughout the 2019 FOP Family Gathering.

Although you'll have multiple opportunities to benefit from the Resilient Living Program throughout the weekend this workshop will be your family’s greatest opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of each facet of resiliency and how they work together to support you, your spouse or your children in your journey with FOP.

The cost of the workshop is $50/person. Registration will open May 1 with the general FOP Family Gathering Registration. The workshop is open to participants 18 years and older. Please register early as space is limited.

**Childcare will be available during the workshop.
