In honor of ten-year-old Lincoln Wheelock, the 7th Annual Lincoln’s Legacy Run was held October 16, in Des Moines, Iowa 

A total of 21 runners participated in 5K and half-marathon races as part of the Des Moines Marathon and collectively they generated more than $30,000 for FOP research!

The IFOPA is grateful to Kristina Sligh and Robin Gambaiana for hosting this event and the many runners plus sponsors who have supported this cause since Lincoln’s diagnosis in 2009.
