This signature IFOPA event enters its third year with some very exciting news! Our FOP community — and YOU — have advanced gene therapy research and helped uncover critical information necessary to find treatments and a cure for FOP.

The 2022 In Pursuit of a Cure — Investing in Every Path to Hope Campaign continues this groundbreaking work and will also fund clinical trial support.

This is the first time the IFOPA will fund a clinical trial for FOP. STOPFOP — a trial testing saracatinib that’s being held in The Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom — may have the potential to stop FOP bone growth and prevent or lessen flares.

We need you to help us keep pushing for more FOP research.

Our goal is to raise $525,000 to keep these hopeful projects moving forward. Research is expensive. We need your help to keep gene therapy and the STOPFOP trial moving forward. Together, we can make life better for our friends and loved ones living with FOP!
