ABLE accounts are tax-advantaged savings accounts that have the potential to significantly increase the independence and quality of life of individuals with disabilities without jeopardizing benefits such as Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
Currently, 23 states have ABLE account programs. To learn more about the #ABLEtoSave campaign and ABLE accounts, visit the ABLE National Resource Center website and be sure to follow the ABLE National Resource Center on Facebook and Twitter (@theABLENRC).
Please join us for an IFOPA webinar with more information on ABLE accounts on April 25. Patrick Doerr, FOP community member who recently set up an ABLE account, will join us as one of the panelists.
