As the mom of a daughter with FOP, Shannon Halford understands how important it is for FOP families to connect with each other and to access FOP research. Halford is a monthly donor to help make that possible. She wants to inspire more people to join her on the Focus On Possibilities team this month in honor of Mother’s Day.
 
“Our amazing daughter Raina, who is a bright ray of sunshine and has FOP, is everything to us,” said Halford.
 
“Supporting the great work of the IFOPA through a monthly donation is the least we can do to honor her and the hope for a better future the IFOPA offers people with FOP.”
 
Halford appreciates that monthly giving is a convenient way for her busy family to consistently provide support for the IFOPA’s programs. And she knows they’re helping the FOP community by contributing with all the other monthly donors. Together, the gifts add up to a significant and reliable source of funding each month.
 
“Discovering how much continuous support, research, hope, community and active progress the IFOPA offers made Raina’s diagnosis easier to bear. The IFOPA continues to positively impact our daily lives and our very realistic hopes for her future,” Halford said.
