FOP Community Supporters Are Back Raising Much-Needed Funds to Fight FOP

Three FOP community supporters are excited to raise not only awareness of FOP, but also much-needed funds to support the mission-critical work of the IFOPA.

Stephen Guiseppe, Chef and Owner of Cedar Hollow Inn in Malvern, PA and winner of the 2020 Jeannie Peeper Outstanding Community Involvement Award, is hosting the 7th annual Barnival event on Sunday, August 29 at Cedar Hollow Inn. Barnival is fun outdoor event with food, cornhole, live music ... even a dunk tank. Jennifer Hamilton Rubert held a Parklane Jewelry fundraiser to support Barnival in 2020 and again this year.

Barnival is held every year in honor of Pat Doerr and has raised close to $50,000 to fund research, support and education programs and FOP awareness initiatives. If you're near the Philadelphia area the last weekend of August, swing by Cedar Hollow Inn and join the fun. Visit the Cedar Hollow Inn Facebook page

Veronica Armbruster has been running marathons for years. With 18 marathons, and 8 Boston Marathon entries, Veronica has a lot of experience and a lot of miles under her feet. This year, Veronica wanted to do something special for her cousin, Theresa "Tisa" Caruso. Tisa has FOP, so on October 11, Veronica is running the Boston Marathon in honor of Tisa to raise awareness about FOP and to raise money to support the mission-critical work of the IFOPA. Make a gift to support Veronica's run.

The IFOPA is grateful for the fundraising support of Stephen, Jennifer and Veronica!
