Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic Joshua’s FOP! board members have made the heart-breaking decision to cancel the upcoming Bingo For A Cure! event which was to be held November 28, 2020.  With the current restrictions on indoor gatherings we just don’t foresee anyway that our event could happen.
 
However, we have over 175 baskets and items that have been donated for our Basket Raffle so we decided to hold a different event, Joshua’s Basket Raffle will take place on September 12, 2020 at the Emmaus Community Park, outside, under the pavilions.  This event will be a socially distancing Basket Raffle and we will be following the CDC guidelines to ensure that we have a safe event for everyone.
 
If you already purchased a bingo ticket, we are asking you to consider making it a donation.  If you use your ticket as a donation, bring it with you on the day of the event (9/12/20), we will then give you a FREE sheet of regular basket raffle tickets that you can put into the baskets of your choice.  You can also use it as a tax-deductible donation.  If everyone generously decides to donate their ticket fee, we should still be able to contribute over $45,000 to FOP research.   All game sponsorships and monetary contributions will be used as a flat donation for FOP research.  Table prize donations will be used at the basket raffle event as door prizes.  This is just a small token to show how grateful we are to have your continued support, generosity, and understanding of our current situation

Joshua’s Basket Raffle Event Information:
 Saturday, September 12, 2020
11am to 4pm (You can drop by anytime between these hours)
Emmaus Community Park – Outside under the Pavilions -  1401 Shimerville Road, Emmaus, PA 18049
FREE Admission – Open to the general public
Basket Raffle Tickets - Pull tabs – 50/50 raffle will be available to purchase
Hundreds of door prizes - no purchase necessary
You DO NOT need to be present to win
 
How to claim your winning basket or 50/50 ticket:
Winning numbers will be drawn at 4:15pm on Saturday 9/12/20.  The public is welcomed to be there when we draw the winners.  You can take your basket with you right away or pick it up the next day, Sunday, 9/13/20 at 3701 Pine Street, Emmaus, PA 18049 between the hours of 11am and 4pm. 
We will post all winners on our Facebook page and send out an email of the winning numbers.  If you do not have access to Facebook or email, please register your raffle numbers with us before leaving the event and we will call you if you win.
 
We are looking at potentially bringing in a few food trucks for this event…..more information to follow.
 
Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks need to be worn when 6 feet distancing is not possible.
Thank you again for all the love and support we have received throughout the past 13 years.  This year has not turned out like any of us had planned, but Joshua and the FOP Community are very fortunate to have you in their lives!
