Sexuality and FOP

Part 1

In Part 1 of the Sexuality and FOP Series, Dr. Michelle Fynan, Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a PhD in Clinical Sexology, shared about the challenges and opportunities connected to expressing sexuality as an individual with a disability. From the importance of sexuality as a basic human need to considerations for expressing sexuality in romantic relationships or individually Dr. Fynan brought an invaluable perspective to the space of empowered exploration of one's sexual needs.

Part 2

In Part 2 of the Sexuality and FOP series, we'll provide an opportunity for adult individuals with FOP to ask questions and discuss topics related to sexuality with a small group of same-sex participants (i.e. other females or other males living with FOP.) Dr. Michelle Fynan will be moderating the discussion and providing recommendations and insights to navigate issues brought to the discussion by participants. This session will be hosted as a Zoom meeting where all participants will have the option to see and hear from one another. Please note, turning on your camera during the meeting is optional.

We understand personal questions related to sexuality can be difficult to ask in a group setting and encourage participants to submit questions in advance in the registration form.

Register today to join us on October 22 at 1 pm ET (females) or 2 pm ET (males). Professional translation in Spanish will be provided for this event. If you speak another language please register as soon as possible so that we can plan for your participation.
