If you don't have a car (or boat) to donate to the IFOPA, don't stop reading!
You still have a terrific opportunity to generate support for the IFOPA.
That was certainly the case for Megan Olsen, mom to Hayden Pheif (who lived with FOP). She was recently visiting with a friend who had a 22' Cobalt boat and trailer they no longer needed.
Megan remembered that the IFOPA accepts cars, trucks, boats, RVs, and other vehicles through Cars2CureFOP and let her friend know that if they wanted to donate it to the IFOPA, they would take care of picking it up and hauling it away.
The result? Her friend donated the boat and trailer to the IFOPA.
"My friends and I were standing next to their boat," Megan said. "I asked them what they were going to do with it—since it wasn’t working—and he said, 'Oh, we’ll just donate it somewhere.' And I said, 'Well, you can donate it to the IFOPA!' The rest is history."
