We're so excited to gather in person at the FOP Family Gathering this fall! November may seem a while away, but it's never too early to start booking your trip to Dallas, Texas.
EVENT DETAILS
The FOP Family Gathering will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Grapevine DFW Airport North from November 16-18, 2023. The hotel is located minutes from DFW International Airport.
REGISTRATION
Registration will open on Monday, May 1! An outline of costs associated with registration is included below:
We seek the support of generous sponsors and donors to make the Family Gathering as affordable as possible.
- Person with FOP - Complimentary registration
- 1st family, friend or caregiver - $100
- All other guests 16+ - $150 per person
- All other guests 5 to 15 - $75 per person
The deadline for registration (or to receive a registration refund) is Sunday, November 5. After this date, the IFOPA will not be able to make changes to food and beverage orders at the hotel. Registration fees are applied to those costs.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
The IFOPA will offer a special room block at the event hotel at the rate of $185/night. With taxes and fees, families can budget for a total amount of $215.56/night. After completing registration you will receive an email with a link to an IFOPA-specific web page where you can book hotel accommodations under our room block.
Important Hotel Notes
- Reservations should be made by Monday, Oct. 23rd in order to get this rate.
- Rooms are available with a king bed (and a sleeper sofa) or two queen beds.
- As there are a limited number of hotel rooms available the IFOPA has reserved all ADA rooms and will allocate rooms based on information provided by registrants in their registration form.
- If you have concerns about your individual situation and would like more information on room dimensions or need other accommodations (such as close proximity to an elevator), please contact us and we will do our best to help. We want a positive experience for all of our attendees.
- The hotel is located minutes from DFW International Airport.
TRANSPORTATION
Free wheelchair-accessible shuttle service is available to and from DFW International Airport. Ground lot self-parking is available free of charge at the hotel.
Uber and Lyft do not offer transportation for power wheelchairs in the Dallas area.
