Faces of FOP
These are some of the children, adults, and families whose lives have been affected by FOP. If you would like to add your picture, please contact the IFOPA. You can send us a scanned picture, or we can scan a picture for you. Let us know if you would like your name included with your picture (it's nice to associate names with faces) or if you have a quote that has special meaning to you.

Fourth International Symposium on FOP (2007)
The Fourth International Symposium on FOP was held in Orlando, FL on August 16-19, 2007. It brought together more than 80 FOP families and many scientists and physicians from around the world.

IFOPA Family Gathering (2003)
On April 30-May 4, 2003, FOP families gathered at the Walt Disney World's Coronado Resort in Orlando, FL. Thirty FOP families from the US, Canada, Argentina and Venezuela had the opportunity to meet, many for the first time. It was four days of fun, sharing experiences and learning about research updates.

Third International Symposium on FOP (2000)
The Third International Symposium on FOP was held in Philadelphia, PA on Nov. 2-5, 2000. It brought together 85 FOP families, nine POH families and many scientists and physicians from around the world.

"Our Mission of Hope"
The IFOPA's new promotional videos offer information on FOP and the organization that can be used to educate people on FOP or help spread awareness of our cause. It features interviews with Frederick Kaplan, M.D. and Eileen Shore, Ph.D. of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, as well as several members of the IFOPA community. FOP Facts and Insights
This 16-part video series offers an abundance of information and advice for FOP patients, parents and caregivers. The videos themselves include information by Frederick Kaplan, M.D. and Dr. Eileen Shore, Ph.D. of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, as well as IFOPA member Lori Henrotay, who helped produce the videos for the organization. FOP and Me
IFOPA member, Oliver Collins, has been doing his part to educate his community on FOP. This video of his speech was presented to educators of schools in Australia that have students with a physical impairment (PI).
