Reachers
Reachers are gadgets designed to help the user grasp & use items that are otherwise too far away. In order to meet the needs of everyone (both partially and fully abled) who wants to use a reacher for differing activities, there are many kinds of reachers on the market. A reacher can be used to hold a sponge for bathing, to pull up clothes during dressing, to throw a ball, to get a book from the shelf, to retrieve fallen paperwork, to pull things closer, to clean up things from the floor, to push things away, ad infinitum. Reachers come in many lengths and which one is right for you depends on what you are using it for and your height standing or in your chair.
