The International FOP Association is pleased to announce the 2017 Call for FOP Research Proposals. 

The International FOP Association is pleased to announce the 2017 Call for FOP Research Proposals. This is the third annual call by the IFOPA under the Competitive Research Grant Program, which to date, has funded six innovative FOP research studies, totaling over $225,000 in committed funding.

The IFOPA offers the FOP Competitive Research Grant Program to help accelerate the development of safe and transformative therapies for the disease. The program provides, through a competitive application process, research funding to scientists conducting research on fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP). 

A total of $100,000 is available in 2017, allowing for either multiple grants of lessor amounts or a single grant for the full amount. 

Proposals are due Friday, June 30, 2017. Winners will be announced by October 15, 2017 and funding will begin in December.
